The 2-storey project located in the central business and financial district of the European Side Istanbul, aimed to be an example of an innovative master planning and to develop the local user experience integrated with the global working culture of the corporate identity in line with current needs.
Welcoming its visitors with a panoramic view of the Bosphorus at the background of a large cafeteria and lounge area, the main reception of the BCG Istanbul office is designed as an liaison point right in the middle of this cafeteria.
Meeting and executive rooms were shaped as a customized area separate from the open office and common use areas in order to have a high level of acoustic comfort, supported with 360-degree uninterrupted circulation throughout the entire floor.
The interpersonal interactions of the open office and the strategic privacy of closed areas are seamlessly separated by acoustically insulated double-glazed interior walls. Contemporary art works adorning the walls add prestige to the office atmosphere.
Project team consisted of various disciplines based in London, Milano, Hamburg, Tel Aviv and Istanbul. We opened a Design & Build Tender in the local market and coordinated the Audio Visual - IT and Loose Furniture Packages seperately. AV & IT contractor teams were based in London and made an overseas operation for the project delivery.
Our scope of services covered design, tender, construction and cost management. In addition to having completed the 12-month project on time and to budget, the project has met and exceeded user expaectations. BCG-ers are delighted with their new workplace which is a step changeform the old office. A fully refreshed look & feel that promotes emplyee collaboration, wellbeing and is reflective of BCG's brand and culture.
